"Big Deal" Common Sense!

How good do you treat the customers who feed your family? Planning anything special for your these customers today? This week?
Do you even have any best customers?
When you wake up with the roosters crowing, after praying for a shower of sales, think about all of your accounts.
Concentrate on your top, VIP accounts. Number and rotate positions on paper, if you have to force concentration.
This should be a daily, ( mental ) business exercise. Stare at the names for 5 minutes if you have to, but spend more
time planning something for your cream of the crop accounts.
What exactly would you like them to be doing for you today
before you go to sleep? Get this part right then you'll know what you should be doing during your day. To encourage
these customers to take action on what you want them to do for you, takes some brain power.
We're not talking about taking notes. This is basically
heart and head work. Log it into your sharp, not always alert memory. Early morning business reviews should be your
first workday task, everyday. Begin your business day with plans. Get an attitude of gratitude.
1. Could a brief thank you email, note or phone call to
someone, who helped you answer your question yesterday help you?
2. Could an email, note or call, simply asking for a good
time to contact the customer about a new launch, help you? Lists are wonderful but lists will never replace VIP treatment. You either have a VIP mentality or you don't
have one. There's no in-between.
A contact appointment scheduled today "might" materialize into a sale by the end of the month. Plant seeds or no
growth spouts will pop up.
Do you know what tending your e-garden means? Most of us have gardens or plants of some type, don't we? Don't waste
time on weeds. Water as needed. Food and fertilize as you see fit.
Think HUGE business and big orders. Doing this is really
your "big" deal! Both big and small deals can be hard to crack. Don't spend a lot of time on too many tiny things
unless they have growth potential. Your cash crop demands your attention.
