Are You Your Competition's Loudspeaker?

====================
We generally feel like we operate as lone eagles, don't we? We really like to "think" we are tops in what we do. The
simple nature of our e-sales talent is that of a solo performer. YES...we do work with other people but who controls the loudspeaker? You?
The one supreme disadvantage in our e-status is that we don't "normally" get the chance to ramble things off with
people at the water cooler. Instead, we carry on discussions with our keyboards. Even though we can be very spirited,
motivated and also inspired, how "ONE-Sided" are we? Sure we like it that way. Isn't it cool not to be interrupted, or to
have to listen attentively and hear negatives from one of our associates OR whining customers? Rulers have a hard time cutting it here in e-sales.
Are you missing the "real" problem? Are we all missing the perspective that others can add to our e-plan? In order NOT
to be coming in from sewer city field on a regular basis, we should make a sincere effort to get the advice of others.
No man or woman is an island, even though e-sales can make us FEEL that way, sometimes!
In the offline business world, the best advice can usually
come from a Board of Directors. They are not required to meet so their advice should be straight from the shoulder.
Is this you, shooting straight from the shoulder OR below the hip? Push off advise from balanced advisors and YOU lose!
What might appear shady OR cloudy OR a gray area to you. could BE crystal clear, black and white, to advisors. Why?
Because they don't always do as much negative dialog with a keyboard as often as you do. If your business advisors are way out in left field, you're gonna have troubles.
Experience in managing e-trouble can determine your business future. Do you fully understand this concept?
Listening closely to a trusted, ethical advisor is a small price to pay as a Prince or Princess of the e-highway, but
pay it you must, "if" you EVER want to continue to be paid regularly. You DO want to be here 10 years from now, right?
Words to live by? O.K. here you have them!
" Take the HIGH Road. Don't be your competition's negative
loudspeaker! Readers are brighter than you think.......it pays to adhere to ethics and never waiver. People come and
go on the e-highway each and everyday. Don't be one of them!
